Junior Club is one of the things we are famous for! Friday afternoons during term time are always a buzz at Nedlands Tennis Club.
It is a great way to end the week. One hour of tennis games, followed by pizza and icy pole for the children, mixed in with plenty of open grass space, a central playground and an open bar for the parents. Socialise with friends or make new ones, whilst your child/ren are having fun with friends. There is no better place to be at the end of the week; kicking off your weekend in style.
Junior Club caters for all juniors from 4 year olds to 14 year olds. All players are split into their ability group - Blue Ball, Red Ball, Orange Ball, Green/Yellow Ball. All groups are run by coaches and their assistants.
After registering, players go to their allocated court/s with the coaches and the tennis fun begins at 4.30pm. Food is served at 5.30pm.
There is no need to book; you just turn up and register on the day.
Friday fun is all year round (school terms). However, in winter - terms 2 and 3 - Junior Club transforms into Friday Fun Club. This is not subsidised by the Club and as such all players - members and non-members alike - pay $10 for the tennis and $6 for food, or $15 for both : cash payments only.
We have a well stocked, well priced bar, which is open from 4:30pm through to around 6.45pm in summer (depending on when parents leave!!) and until around 6pm during the winter terms. There is an EFTPOS facility for the bar.
